"The Mayplace Curse" was a fully immersive, narrative-driven escape room experience designed and produced end-to-end by myself within a domestic environment.
The brief was simple but demanding: create a believable, high-stakes supernatural experience that felt professional and left guests with an experience they'd never forget.
Across a one-hour timed experience, guests navigated a series of interconnected spaces, uncovering clues through physical props, motion graphics, sound design, lighting automation, and environmental storytelling.
Every element, from hidden audio triggers to real-time visual countdowns and cues was purposefully integrated to support pacing, tension, and narrative cohesion.
This project showcases my ability to conceptualise, design, fabricate, and technically orchestrate live experiences, blending storytelling with practical engineering and real-time control systems.
